The inspiration for this series of paintings (1992-2006) was a peony farm in Sherwood, Oregon, where I first imagined the effect of placing a vase of cut flowers against a background field of blooms.  I painted the subject life size to give the viewers the feeling that they, too, are surrounded by a field of color and light. 

Notecards are 5” x 7” and come with envelopes in a set of 12 (3 of each image).
